Motorcycle Tyres may need to be checked as the warmer weather approaches!

During the winter months wear and tear to tyres can go unnoticed. Riders should always ensure that their tyres are safe and legal and ready for possible higher mileage. As the weather improves motorcyclists may venture out more often putting stress on tyres, which may not have touched the road at all for some time.

Greater usage and extremes of weather in Northern Ireland can stress tyres, cracks could have appeared over the winter period weakening the tyre and making it dangerous.

Riders, please make sure you check your tyres before each journey and that you have the recommended pressure in both tyres. It’s vital not to over or under inflate your tyres as this may cause the bike to handle & brake poorly, not to mention increase wear.
